Among the approved agreements, the Council endorsed the adjustment of the Governing Council’s Committees and the General Committees, as well as modifications to their scope of action. Specific regulations were also approved for departments, such as the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Environment, and for university research institutes, including the Concerted University Research Institute of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering (I2MB).
The Council also approved the regulations for UPV scientific journals, the update of the Academic and Research Staff representative in the Social Council, and the 2026 elections for governing and representative bodies. These measures aim to strengthen the university’s structure and governance, ensuring greater efficiency and transparency in decision-making.
Finally, the session included the awarding of the title of Professor Ad Honorem to Mr. Salvador Conrado Añó Villalba, in recognition of his contributions to teaching and research at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
